When I asked the woman behind the story how she balanced work and motherhood, she said:
"There is absolutely no such thing as balance. It's more about sacrifices and seasons."
That sentence became the heart of this painting.
Some days mean missing bedtime because work runs late. Others mean leaving work early for a parents' evening. Every mother's journey is different, but the constant adjustments often go unnoticed.
